He began his professional journey in 2002 as the CFO of Bancard, where he spent more than 4 years. Subsequently, he persued an MBA at Harvard Business School. In 2008, joined Celfin Capital initially serving as manager of real estate funds. By 2009, he assumed the roles of Investment Manager and General Manager at Celfin Asset Management, where his responsibilities included investment strategies and asset allocation for investment funds and clients.
Between 2011 and 2014, he contributed to the public sector by serving in the Government as the Executive Coordinator of State Modernization. This position operated under the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency, and during his tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing the ChileAtiende network and other initiatives. Subsequently, from 2018 to 2020, he transitioned into an advisory role for the President. During this period, he led the public policy team at the Presidential Advisory Office in La Moneda, as well as presidential manager for the modernization of the State. In addition to these roles, he continued to contribute his insights as a columnist for Diario Financiero and T13 Radio. Partner at MFO Advisors since 2013.
